Our first cigar review kinda took place during the Falcon’s game last Sunday at the Blue Havana Lounge. We had a nice gathering of customers, so the Don Lino “Africa” cigars came out for smoking and review. This review will give you some general comments from the customers. In the future, I would like to list their names and comments, but this time I just wasn’t ready to review, watch the game, wait on customers and enjoy a cocktail.
The general comments about this cigar were very good. Everyone smoked the Temba 7.5 x 50, and believe me , none of my customers provided me with the descriptions found in the rigged cigar reviews we all read. What I was told is that the cigar was constructed very well, the beautiful wrapper enticed the smoker to carefully light up and slowly enjoy the taste and aroma. A few of the guys thought that this cigar was similiar to the Ashton VSG in looks and strength. The cigar was considered medium to full bodied and all but one had an even burn. With the execption of one customer, everyone said they would purchase the cigar again. The hold out will not be invited to the Don Lino “Africa” rolling event at Blue Havana on 12/2/05.
Well, this is it. I know this isn’t much information on the cigar, but we will get better at reviews in the future.
